I've long been wanting to create an archive for the book painting process, as well as build more places for my art to live online outside of social media. After being re-introduced to neocities by Marina Kittaka and roused by her essay about eggs, I used the zonelet tools to make this blog!

I struggle a lot with social media. I both want to be GOOD at it and also hate the way the algorithm and perception by strangers shapes my brain and my work! Ugh! Since I do have different, more shareable channels that I use for gigs and employment, I am choosing to remove the more personal and intimate stories of The Night Parade to this corner of the internet.

I want the info to be free and accessible, but also within my ownership and away from the tumult of virality. I like the idea that it takes some effort to find this archive, which hopefully will keep the information a little safer/more private.

So welcome to my first blog since my xanga! Thanks to Tipa for showing me that a zonelet could be used in addition to socials, and for pointing me to sadgrl.online for their kawaii resources. Also thanks to Amor as Lucha for the resources and encouragement to build art-places off of Inst*gram.
